I listened to an inspiring podcast today. Glenn Beck interviewed Matthew Lohmeier.
He was brilliant. Here are a few excerpts I found profound. You see, my dear son has been sharing bits and pieces of this phenomenal information with me for months, longer if I am honest. Now it’s getting more and more frightening.
My words –
Evil is with us, it has crept in while no one was paying attention. We allowed it to happen. We gave up on God, meaning on all Gods, yours, mine, your neighbors God, and your son’s friends God too. We all did. We stopped being families. Families who talk to each other, families who listen to one another, who thought what each other had to say was important, who had discipline, courage, a love for our country, pride in our homes, our workplace, and even in our person, even the way in which we dress, the clothing we wear and the way in which we wear it. It was a slippery slope and we have slid right into oblivion.
Matthew-
A Fratricidal & Genocidal world is being created where fathers and sons are fighting each other. When we gave up God, we created a hole where there is no God and out of that hole crept a monster called hatred.
Matthew calls himself a Conspiracy Analyst. He quoted several of our founding fathers saying, We are living in a wholly inadequate world, being governed by wholly inadequate men. More over we are immoral people being governed by an immoral government. It had never struck me until that very moment how true that is, was, and will always be true. We will always be immoral people. The best we can do is ask God for His divine forgiveness and live a life of service to Him, sharing the word of repentance.
Glenn asked: When asked what can we do to turn this around? What is it that we can do? Matthew responded like this, We can be The One within our own sphere of influence, the One who shares the change that has to happen! We must repent, we must pray and most important we must put God back in our own lives. One life at a time.
Me-
Watching the turmoil, and the hate as it manifests into violence in our streets should be the motivating factor for us all.
Let us encourage each other to do our best, rise above this hatred, and fill our lives and deeds with love. Because those in power are exactly the same as we are. They are just disillusioned that they’re smarter, and more powerful, somehow thinking they can control us and our children. We will stop them, we must stop them. I truly believe Good will triumph over Evil. Our children are not fodder to be trampled on. We must begin with love at home, and take back responsibility for our children, and ourselves.
Give thanks at the dinner table, listen to what is said, talk with your family no matter the topic. Speak to your neighbors, also to your neighbors-neighbors, and so on. Do not give up this fight for the love of God because hatred knows no bounds. Hatred, mean-ness, cruelty those horrid traits seem to just ooze out of these awful creatures. Those of us from the “olden days”, are the ones who have to listen more, hug tighter, and speak louder when necessary because God’s tasked us with fighting back against these monsters.
We the people, need to reach out as Servant Leaders with messages of Love for each other and the Lord Jesus. More importantly, we need to pray, pray, pray!
May God watch over us as we walk this path to righteousness!
Stand tall brothers and sisters, we shall overcome!
